Seeing Through the Fog and Why Leadership as We Know It is Broken

In an era where 65% of employees would rather have a new boss than a pay raise, traditional leadership is failing us.

We learn from the latest Gallup polls that 65% of employees would rather have a new boss than a pay raise. Can there be any stronger signal that traditional leadership is failing us?

We find ourselves in a dense fog, where outdated practices keep us from seeing the deeper truths that are essential for thriving in today’s world.

This year, something shifted within me. A new found clarity emerged as I continued on my inner leader journey.

It’s as if the fog lifted, revealing new insights and a broader awareness that were previously obscured by the noise of the mind, ego, and conventional leadership approaches.

What we learn on this inner path is that true insight comes not from more information, but from a deeper level of consciousness.

Joseph Jaworski calls it ‘Stage IV’ leadership. It’s a state of heightened perception and alignment with the emerging future, where the fog clears and we begin to see with our eyes and our inner awareness.

In this space of clarity, anything that doesn’t resonate with our inner truth becomes immediately apparent.

As I’ve increased my activity on LinkedIn in recent months, much of what I share is driven by this deeper awareness. I see many posts discussing leadership, yet so few speak to what lies beyond the surface.

The inner leader journey allows us to see more from a deeper awareness with greater clarity. We also learn from Joseph Jaworski in Synchronicity that if we could only see reality more as it truly is, we would know exactly what to do.

I can't even begin to describe how profoundly different the world looks with these new eyes and what it would mean if more of us could.

As I’ve embraced this new way of seeing, I’ve found that conventional leadership, as it is widely practiced, simply isn't meeting the complexities of our rapidly changing world. It’s broken.

It fails to address the deeper needs of individuals and organizations, stuck in the old paradigms of control and hierarchy.

I invite you to consider this: What would your leadership look like if you allowed the fog to lift? If you led with a new level of awareness, could you rise above the noise and connect to something deeper?

Leadership, as we know it, may be broken, but there’s a path available to us. It's a path of inner awareness beyond the mind and ego and alignment with our true selves.

Are you ready to let go of the old ways and step into the clarity of your inner being?

If you’d like to raise your awareness and lead from a place of deeper state of being, I invite you to explore The Anti-Leadership Workshop for yourself, your team, or your organization.

We're not rejecting leadership outright, but simply calling for dissolving the conditioned patterns of the mind and ego that have defined it for so long.
